Karen Gayle Tinney is an artist and designer whose work consists of pieces that combine ceramic and fiber, drawing inspiration from the interplay of the materials. Within her work, the two materials never live alone, relying on each other for structure and completeness. The fiber components are incorporated where the ceramics leave off; completing the shape or acting as the physical connection between incomplete parts.
Each piece is meticulously crafted by the artist in her studio; some pieces taking months to fully complete.
Lead time is listed as 1-2 weeks but stock may be available immediately.

Contemporary Yellow & Gold Porcelain Handmade Vase
By Coralla Maiuri
Located in Roma, RM
Coralla Maiuri created the Lava Vases Collection in 2018. The Yellow & Gold Vase is one of her largest unique pieces, and takes the lava concept further. Its bright, slightly crackled yellow surface is increasingly covered by a dripping white, brown and blue lava of spongy texture emerging from the mouth with golden reflexes, flowing all the way past the base and on to the flat surface around its base. Measures: Ø32 x 41H.
Coralla Maiuri has created artworks for over thirty years. Alongside art she designs and decorates tableware, furniture, lamps and textiles. She lives in Rome, is married and has two sons...
