Italian Venetian Yellow Murano Glass Scavo Vase Contemporary 1990s
This refined and elegant Venetian work of art was made in the island of Murano in the 1990s by Cenedese, following the ancient Murano glassmaking techniques.
Its peculiar antiqued look is the result of the "Scavo" glassmaking technique. The glass in the base and the upper part is made of different shades of yellow with a white glass sphere in the middle. The elegance of its design and of its colors embodies the Venetian true love of art.
The vase is 17.51 inches (44,5 cm) high, the top diameter is 12.2 inches (31 cm) and the base diameter is 9.05 inches (23 cm).
