Josef Ekberg Ceramic Vase

About the Item

This is a handmade, 1 off Sgraffito vase made by the Swedish ceramic artist Josef Ekberg in 1907. He was one of Sweden’s top ceramic artist at the time. He started working at the Gustavsberg foundry in 1898 till his death in 1945. His works are becoming highly collectable these days being that he only made 1 of 1. There are no 2 matching Sgraffito known. In his painted pieces there are matching pieces.
