About the Item

A unique and large scale pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Glass and Ormolu vases. This stunning pair of vases are raised by Ormolu bases in the design of intertwined scrolling floral vines surrounding a bombee shaped and faceted cobalt blue Glass base. At the midsection are beautifully scrolled foliate Ormolu mounts with blossoming flowers. The vases taper upward and lead to the pedal designed rims.
