Richard Ginori Italian Porcelain Centerpiece Compote Dish

About the Item

Outstanding Richard Ginori porcelain centerpiece compote, circa 19th Century. This rare and whimsical antique compote is hand painted with a "Bacchanalian" motif and a polychrome glaze. It is from the Belle Epoque period that flourished in the latter part of the 19th Century. There are also hand painted geometric designs underneath the top reticulated portion. Signed on bottom: "Ginori" 327/1066 with crown logo. 19th Century Italian craftsmanship at its best!
