About the Item

Set of two Danish modernist vases with soft, organic shapes and muted colors designed by acclaimed ceramic artist Aage Würtz in the 1980s. Round vase with short, slender neck and matte spotted anthracite glaze in three shades divided in effortless drapes accentuating the spherical shape created with a visible overlap of the ceramic material. Height: 14 cm/5.5 in. Diameter: 13.5/5.3 in. Tiny smudge from production - see photo. 2. Vase with three adjoining, round compartments and matte, chalk white glaze. Production stamp on side. Height: 11.7 cm/4.6 in. Diameter: 8.4 cm/3.3 in. Both signed and numbered under base, and in beautiful vintage condition with small signs of wear.
