Thom Lussier Glazed Ceramic Winged 'Fairy' Vase
About the Item
A gorgeous vase by Thom Lussier from his fantastic 'Fairy' series of ceramic vessels. The artist applies a mixture of different glazing techniques to create richly textured surfaces. The vase's external surface is reminiscent of wood bark, while its interior is a smoothly glazed pale mint-green. An exciting detail is the wing like fin that wraps around the vase in a beautiful, curved form. This fin is a pleasing mix of oceanic blues and beiges.
