Tribe d16 Ceramic Vase by Arik Levy for Bitossi Ceramiche

About the Item

Tribe d16 vase designed by Arik Levy and produced by Bitossi. Hand-turned cylindrical ceramics in refractory white earth. Limited edition of 199 pieces. The Tribe collection, introduced by Bitossi in 2007, is an outstanding example of contemporary design that combines aesthetics and functionality. This ceramic work of art is distinguished by the softness of its circular shapes, available in different sizes. This feature not only gives each piece a visually charming look, but also makes the design stackable. The idea of developing the project in vertical through the stacking of several elements opens up infinite decorative possibilities, allowing to create unique and personalized sculptural structures. The colour selection of the Tribe collection is carefully selected, with both matt and brilliant enamels that enhance the shape and texture of each piece. The surface, scratched by hand from the turning during the moulding, underlines the beauty and complexity of the craftsmanship. This detail not only adds visual depth, but also captures light in surprising ways, creating a dynamic and ever-changing effect. The Tribe collection by Bitossi is therefore more than a simple series of ceramic objects; it is a celebration of matter, craftsmanship and modern design. Each piece is a statement of style, designed to add a touch of sophistication and originality to any environment. Biography Arik Levy was born in Tel-Aviv. At 28 he graduated in Industrial Design from the Art Center Europe in Switzerland. After winning the Seiko Epson competition, he began his career as a professional designer. He opens his own company L Design based in Paris with a team of designers and graphic artists. Participates in exhibitions in prestigious galleries and international museums where we can find his most significant works. Through innovation and experimentation, it transforms concepts into products, space into experience.
