About the Item

Unique tall stoneware vase by ceramist Melike Ababiyanik for Royal Copenhagen. Made ca. 1960s or 1970s. The flask shaped vase has a sand colored speckled glaze. On the two opposite sides it is decorated with a simple decor in blue and brown. On bottom the vase is marked with the 3 wave logo for Royal Copenhagen and "m" for Melike Ababiyanik. It doesn't show a model or decor number as it is a unique piece. The vase is a factory first edition! It´s in excellent vintage condition. It's a heavy piece which weighs almost 3kg.
