A sought after Fat Lava ceramic vase handcrafted in Vallauris.Large Vallauris ceramic fat lava footed vase optic pottery in brown and pink.This vintage French Mid-century ceramic pottery vase was handcrafted in Vallauris, France, circa 1950s. It is crafted from stoneware and features a rare, distinctive, timeless fat lava design.This piece embodies the artistry and craftsmanship of mid-20th century French ceramics.Beautiful ceramic footed vase from Vallauris, France handcrafted and glazed. Circa 1950s, designed and created in the manner of Charles Cart.This well-known listed ceramic artist called this style Cyclope because of the large volcanic dimples created during the firing of the pottery which reveal the layers of brown below the surface.Condition: One minor chip under the base.Includes a "Terre de Provence Vallauris" gold paper label, as shown in the photos.Handcrafted in Vallauris South of France.
