Rare West Germany vase with marbled effect, designed by Walter Becht KG for Oberhessische Keramik, marked WB 170/24 at the bottom. Walter Becht vases are not very common and therefore highly sought after by collectors and serious collectors of West Germany ceramics. West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the largest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay. In perfect condition, no cracks, breaks or chips, check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 24cm diameter, 24cm high.
