Mid-Century Art Pottery Gouda Styled Keg & Glasses Liquor Decanter Set

About the Item

This Mid-Century Modern art pottery keg with glasses and serving Stand is not signed legibly, but is clearly done in the manner and style of Gouda art pottery of Holland. The set consists of the hand painted art pottery keg barrel styled decanter body, complete with its original pottery stopper, brass spigot, wooden Stand and six matching liqueur sized glasses. The body of the keg barrel is decorated in a vibrant floral motif with a black background which is accented with the black wooden serving Stand which it firmly rests in. The set of six liqueur glasses have an etched band around the rim and slide into slots in the Stand for storage. There is some possible markings or signature on the bottom of the keg as presented in the photos, but is either extremely illegible or possibly simply paint loss from use.

Condition:
Wear consistent with age and use. Some light surface wear to the bottom of the pottery keg consistent with age and use. No chips or cracks noted and the stopper shows no wear. Some minor wear to the wooden stand as presented in the photos.
