19th Century Large Opulent Cobalt Blue Porcelaine de Paris Vase

About the Item

This gorgeous large Paris porcelain vase is decorated with an exquisite palette of colours, its hand-painted polychrome floral medallions set against a background of the most vivid cobalt blue and accentuated with generous gilt detailing. The stepped, geometrically shaped base, scrolled side handles and embellished rim are fully gilded, while a motif of delicate golden garlands encircles the lower half of the vase. Weighted in its base for extra stability, this 19th century vase is a substantial piece of porcelain, and with its bright colours and golden accents would surely make it the focal point in any room.
