About the Item
The motif for this relief is taken from nature, as often is the case with Finnish design items. Designed by Toini Muona, one of the most influential and appreciated ceramists of her time in Finland. The post time era in Finland produced a number of young designers that became stars in Finland because of their success in international fairs and Triennials. Toini Muona was on top of this list of course.
This relief is created with masterful execution. It is infinitely expressive and elegantly subtle. As a high quality household item, it will add a sure Finnish-Nordic distinctiveness to any interior. The quality of it is based on a solid knowledge and respect for the material properties used.
