This is a very rare shaped early Jug or pitcher, hand painted in the gold gilded Rose Posies pattern against a Mazarine blue ground, made by Mason's Ironstone, Lane Delph, England and dating to circa 1813-1820.
This jug is hand potted in a very rare shape with a loop handle and a pouring spout to the rim.

Stylish Pair Graduated Brown Glazed Studio Pottery Moon Vases
Located in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire
A very well made and stylish pair graduated studio pottery moon vases believed to date from the 20th century and probably originating from the UK. The stoneware vases are lightly potted standing on flat narrow oval shaped bases and both are hand crafted in narrow round moon shape with short narrow funnel necks and slighted everted thicker opening. The vases are decorated in splashed tenmoku brown glazes on a red brown glazed ground with a linear pattern running diagonally across the bodies. Both vases have impressed marks which we have been unable to identify, one with a series of collectors paper labels suggesting possible makers. However we have been unable to verify any of these.
The dimensions provided are for the larger vase and the smaller example measures: height 16 cm, width 12.5 cm and depth 4.5 cm. Absolutely stunning display pieces...

Minton majolica game pie tureen with hunting dog, late 19th Century
By Minton
Located in Paris, FR
This late 19th-century Minton majolica game pie tureen and cover offer a glimpse into the richness of Victorian dining. The cover features a meticulously molded hunting dog nestled amidst ferns, evoking scenes of countryside pursuits. The basketweave sides are adorned with detailed depictions of a hare and pheasant, while elegant branch handles and scroll feet complete the ensemble, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship typical of the era.
This piece bears impressed marks on the underside, indicating its authenticity and heritage. Despite its age, this tureen remains a testament to Minton's mastery of majolica artistry.
Please note the condition report: while the tureen itself is in good condition, the dish has sustained damage, including little cracks and losses to the glazing. Crazing is present throughout, with evidence of heat damage to the base. These imperfections, however, do not detract from the overall beauty and historical significance of this piece.
Ideal for collectors of Victorian ceramics...
