This is a porcelain blue and white, hand gilded Sucrier (Sugar Bowl) in the Broseley printed pattern made by Miles Mason (Mason's), Staffordshire Potteries, in the early 19th century, circa 1810.
This piece is well potted with a lovely shape and twin side handles, but no lid.

This is a very good example of an English George III period, porcelain, coffee can, made by Spode, England in the early 19th century, circa 1810.
The can is nominally straight sided and has the Spode loop handle with a pronounced kick or kink to the lower part, with a lower attachment that curves out slightly from the cup. Spode is the only factory with a handle of this exact shape.
The can is decorated with one of their grey "bat printed" designs, showing game birds collected after the shoot. It also has hand painted gilded detail to both rims and the handle.

This plate is well potted with a recessed rim.
The pattern is transfer printed under-glaze in cobalt blue, then carefully hand painted in bold coloured enamels over-glaze in Gilt Heightened, Rare Pattern Number '4089' which Depicts Oriental Flowers including Bamboo, Peonies and Prunus Blossom in a garden setting with insects.

This is an exceptionally large English mid-19th century Victorian Ironstone Platter decorated in a beautifully detailed Japanese Imari pattern. The enameling is sharp with deep coloration and the overlaid gold is in very good original condition. The platter is marked "Stone China" on the reverse. The platter is in very good overall condition with normal patination and very minimal losses to the painted decoration. This is a good small Serving Dish made of ironstone (Spode's Stone China) in the Ship Pattern, No 3068, produced by the English, Spode factory early in the 19th century, George 111rd Period.
The pattern is called the Ship pattern number 3068, the chinoiserie decoration being transfer printed under-glaze, then very carefully hand painted in bold colored enamels with additional gilding over-glaze. As is usual with Spode ware the standard of hand painted detail is very high.
A plate in this pattern is shown on page 54 of Steven Smith's book; "Spode and Copeland" published by Schiffer. The pattern is in the Chinese taste as produced by many of the English potteries of the time, to compete directly with the large import of Canton or Chinese Export porcelain from China. The dish has a mid brown edge similar to that often seen on Chinese plates.
