About the Item

Pocket emptier in ceramic by Giancarlo Gabbianelli. In very good condition, with minimal signs of aging and use (no chips or smears). Manufacture, already active in the years before the Second World War, based in Milan, in via San Pietro all'Orto 11 whose production, directed by Rolando Hettner, consists of modern majolica, vases, favors, lamp bases, plates for walls, decorative tiles for floors and panels for walls, statuettes with a sacred subject. Giò Ponti collaborated with the factory between the 1950s and 1960s. In the 1980s, the designer Sergio Asti collaborated with the manufacturer.
