About the Item

A set of seven porcelain coasters designed by Piero Fornasetti. The design is named "sezioni di frutta" or sliced fruit. The coasters are white porcelain with multi color depictions of sliced fruit. The coasters were manufactured and sold primarily during the 1950's - 1960's. The coasters are 4 inches in diameter and 1/2 inches tall. All coasters are fully marked on the back and the original box is included.

  • Condition:
    Wear consistent with age and use. The coasters are in good vintage condition, it appears they were lightly or never used. More wear on the fig, mostly the black paint. There is some slight scratching on the painted surfaces, the porcelain has some factory imperfections on the bottom.
