About the Item

Antique (late 19th to early 20th century) French tantalus in the form of four stacked leather bound books with Latin titles, with gilt glass decanter and five glasses, ideal for liquor of any type, especially whisky, rye or bourbon. Overall dimensions 10 1/4 by 7 3/4 by 7 inches. Gilt glass decanter with original stopper measures 6 inches tall and the glasses each measure 2 7/8 inches in height.
