About the Item

This set of four art glass open salt cellars were made by the iconic American glass maker Louis Comfort Tiffany in circa 1890 in the period Victorian style. These open salts are done with a base of gold glass, two are a bit darker than the other two, and done with a very strong iridescence or 'favrile' with crimped or ruffled edges. These open salts are each signed "LCT" on the bottom rim, with the model or lot numbers "6303" on each on the inner bases.
