Three-Part Silver Salt Shaker or Cellar, 19th Century

About the Item

Three-part silver salt Shaker, 19th century. Salt Shaker made up of three bodies lowered at their edges so that they fit together and unite in a chamfered half oval at the top, decorated with simple lines, as corresponds to a work from the 19th century influenced by neoclassicism. This type of salt shaker is reminiscent of the so-called “tower” examples, made in the Renaissance, but much more simplified. Weight: 150 grams. Size: 5 x 5 x 5.5 cms.
