Alexandre Noll Pitcher in Carved Sycamore France c. 1950 Acquired from the estate of a former Saks Fifth Avenue Executive. This rare piece was presented by Noll as a sample to Saks marketing department c. 1950. Beautiful natural organic form, in carved Sycamore wood with distinct ray flecks present giving some sections a freckled appearance, or Lacewood. Carved incised signature to underside: [ANoll], MADE IN FRANCE Ex for SAKS FIFTH AVE Original vintage condition.
