About the Item

This wash jug originally came from the Sarreguemines factory in eastern France. The Parisia pattern was created in 1895 at the end of the 19th century. The decoration on this jug features delicate floral motifs and a medallion on both sides depicting a beautiful woman's face, rendered in a very soft blue tone. Today, it can be used as an elegant decorative piece in the home, but can also be repurposed as a vase or a jug for water or fruit juice on a table. It has no visible cracks or chips, just a tiny chip under the spout measuring approximately 1 mm.
