Beautiful Wedgwood antique Victorian dark cobalt blue jasperware Upright jug with a pewter lid. Featuring classical relief figures and a grapevine edging, and the handle has a rope twist design. Measuring height 11.7 cm / 4.5 inches, and the base is diameter 7.5 cm / 2.9 inches. The jug is in very good condition for its age. There is a chip to the spout. This lovely dark cobalt blue Wedgwood jug is circa 1890s.
