George III sterling footed tray by Robert Garrard & John Wakelin, c. 1792

About the Item

An oval standing rim sterling silver salver with four bracket feet. The center is engraved with a Latin motto (Peace & Faith) above a dove with laurel leaf twig in its beck. Later engraved embellishments surrounded the armorial. Hallmarked on the underside. London, England, circa 1792.
