About the Item

A 1990s Suisse Langenthal charger porcelain plate "Flying" by Suisse Langenthal from their Voyage series. Made in Switzerland. In very good vintage condition. As stated on the base: Dishwasher proof, Microwave proof and Oven proof. Dimensions: Diameter: 31cm Height: 2.5cm Information on BOPLA! - The most fascinating tableware idea from Switzerland! A quality product manufactured by the Swiss porcelain factory Suisse Langenthal. The high-quality porcelain is extremely durable due to its solid shapes, high edge strength and break resistance. It is triple fired at 1220 Celcius (2220 Fahrenheit) and is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. BOPLA! was made in Swiss workshops until around 1997, when production was moved abroad. This plate is from the first production starting in 1993 which has the original green marking. In the early days the variety of BOPLA! was at its peak. Over the years colours have been reduced and a lot of the playfulness has disappeared.
