Meissen Dancing Peasant Woman

About the Item

A very rare Meissen porcelain figure of a dancing peasant woman. Modelled in 1748-63 by Johann Joachim Kaendler and/or Peter Reinicke. Unglazed underside, blue crossed swords mark to the reverse of the base. Height is 19cm. Circa 1748-1763.
