Pair of Meissen Gardeners. First modelled by Acier c.1777. The man leaning on his spade handle with watering can under his elbow. The woman with a basket of flowers held against her waist with her right hand. In her left hand she holds a pruning knife. Height of Man 19cm. Height of Woman 19cm. Circa : 1860 Both with underglaze blue crossed swords.
