Portuguese porcelain pot from Coimbra, SP. Polychrome decoration with peacocks, one of the most symbolic birds in decorative art, representing beauty and prosperity. The piece is white in colour, with a glossy finish and gold details on the base, rim and top of the lid.
The central illustration shows two peacocks richly painted in vibrant colours, perched on flowering branches in soft tones, creating a harmonious contrast with the white background. The lid, which accompanies the piece, has a decorative handle that is also decorated in gold.
