19th century Lewis Jones Pittston PA. Fine 3-gallon blue cobalt decorated stoneware crock. Stamped with maker’s mark. Hand Brisked cobalt floral decoration that encompasses most of the entire crock. There are two sturdy lug handles on each side. There is a nice Albany slip glaze to its interior. Great patina salty glaze. Pennsylvania decorated stoneware.
