Large Hand Thrown Pottery Vessel

About the Item

We acquired a group of quite large and massive pieces of pottery all from the early 1990’s. This one is quite unusual, a large hand crafted pottery vessel. It has great form and is well executed. An unusual rough glaze with natural grey stone ash coloring. There is some white showing through on the edges, which may be intentional. It is quite heavy and structurally sound and in good condition. There are some minor rubs marks and the aforementioned white areas.
