About the Item

Here is a fantastic, exceptional quality large open bowl with a fabulous art nouveau design. It would work well as an elegant serving piece but would also be a fabulous display for glass balls, shells, flowers, plants or any number of other collections. O. Gallia and the model number that looks like 5885 are impressed under one of the handles. Christofl's Gallia line was made with a new alloy called Gallia which was less expensive and easier to work with. This bowl retains it's wonderful tarnished/aged patina which I love so I have not tried to polish it but I think it will clean up, though if you like it shiny. It measures 9 inches in diameter, 11.25 inches to the outside of the handles and 3 inches high. Thanks for visiting The Moody Carpenter and please let us know if we can answer any questions.
