About the Item
This very special and very rare fully restored Silver plated Art Deco large pedestal bowl and or centerpiece bowl was done in the 1930's by Apollo Metalsmith Company from NY. It is hallmarked on the bottom Apollo 25 with another hallmark of a VH above it. The company is no longer in business. The entire bowl or centerpiece had to be re-silver plated all over to the tune of a huge expense. It has the chevron pattern on the perimeter and also on the part of the base with scrolled columns. The base is 6.5" Deep. Beautiful detail .It is now elegant, stately and has substantial weight. This can be incorporated into a art deco home, traditional, modern or contemporary. This piece stands by itself as a real focal point for its great integrity. Great for entertaining or serving. Magnificent. Again in recap now very RARE.
