An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver cheese slicer; an addition to dining silverware collection. This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver cheese slicer has a broad rounded shaped blade with plain tapering handle. The handle is plain and unembellished with an incurved pinch to either side of the terminal The shaped blade is plain and unembellished with a concave grating slicer to the center. The reverse surface of this impressive example of vintage silverware is plain and unembellished. Cheese slicers of this design and style, crafted in sterling silver, are scarce to the market and difficult to locate. The maker’s mark (MK) is untraced and it can be determined that this piece was commissioned through a metal worker specializing in diverse, artistic bespoke pieces. Condition This vintage sterling silver cheese slicer is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the blade are all very clear. Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this piece of vintage silverware.
