About the Item

A fine and impressive vintage George VI English sterling silver tea strainer; an addition to our silver teaware collection This fine vintage sterling silver tea strainer has a circular rounded form. The bowl of the tea strainer is embellished with pierced circular motifs amidst four simplified petal outlines. This tea strainer is fitted with two plain scrolling rests. The plain tapering handle is embellished with a paralleling simplified border in addition to a shaped pierced decorated scrolling leaf terminal. Condition This sterling silver tea strainer is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the strainer handle are all very clear.
