Dutch clear crystal with Silver Inkwell, circa 1850
An inkwell, made of clear crystal glass with a silver cap, made in The Netherlands. The crystal glass at the bottom has a crystal cut fan.Two ridges at the front to place the pen on. The inkwell with hinged silver cap. Marked with Dutch silver hallmarks "the Sword" Used between 1814-1906. Silver content is 833/000. The master sign is "M" probably made by Meijnders or Moonen. The inkwell has a small scratch on the bottom due to use and has two small dents.
The measurement is 6 cm high, 11,5 cm wide and the depth is 11 cm (1 Inch = 2.54 cm )
