Solid Sterling Silver - SMALL SALVER or CARD TRAY - very well made in heavy gauge silver. English hallmarks showing that this key was made in Sheffield in 1924. Lion - Sterling silver guarantee Lower case g - Date letter for Sheffield 1924 Crown - Identifying mark for the Sheffield Assay Office. HE over Ld - Registered mark for Hawksworth, Eyre & Co. Ltd. A superb solid and heavy gauge salver, with shaped reed and shell border, in eight sections. Mounted on three rolled feet, and with square block attachments. SUPERB VERY NEAR ORIGINAL CONDITION. Diameter:- 209 millimetres / 8.23 inches. Height:- 31 mms. / 1.22 ins. Weight:- 371 grams / 11.9 ounces.
