An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Georgian sterling silver bright-cut old English pattern salad serving fork; an addition to our silver flatware collection.
This exceptional antique sterling silver fork has been crafted in the bright-cut old English pattern.
This antique George III salad serving fork has six tines with a plain rounded drop.
The anterior surface of the handle is embellished with bright cut engraved simplified floral designs accented with undulating borders, incorporating an oval vacant cartouche to the terminal.
The reverse surface of this sterling silver serving fork incorporates a pip to the terminal, in addition to a rounded heel to the bowl/drop.
Condition
This antique sterling silver salad fork is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and is in exceptional condition.
The bright cut engraved decoration is all very crisp.
Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the fork are very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of antique Georgian silverware.

The serving fork has six tines with a plain rounded drop.

The reverse surface of this sterling silver serving fork incorporates a pip to the terminal, in addition to a rounded heel to the bowl/drop.

These exceptional antique George III sterling silver sauce tureens have a plain oval shaped form onto a plain oval spreading pedestal foot to a collet rim.
The body of each tureen is encompassed with an applied girdle above a contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms displaying an escutcheon party per pale of a cross engrailed and a lion rampant, encompassed with fabric swaps and suspended tassels.
The rim of each antique tureen is encompassed with an applied gadroon decorated border.
These impressive sterling silver Georgian tureens retain the original hallmarked push fit covers, surmounted with an impressive reed decorated handle enveloped with chased decorated leaf designs to the terminals.
The surface of each cover is ornamented with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting an armoured knight armed mounted on a horse salient holding in his dexter hand a sword above his head.
Each tureen is fitted with two loop handles embellished with a chased decorated leaf design to the lower portion.
These sauce tureens are presented with Fine and impressive associated London made, antique sterling silver sauce ladles crafted in the Hanoverian Rat Tail pattern by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd in 1939.
