Italian sterling silver oil cruet 800
About the Item
Oval oil cruet ompletely made and hammered by hand.
On the sides were welded 2 applications made with the casting technique reproducing one an olive branch with olives and leaves and the other vine leaves and grapes. This is so that the cruet with the oil and vinegar can be placed correctly.
The cruets are hand-ground blue crystal with floral motifs, while the sterling silver stoppers echo the oil and vinegar motifs.
The handle is always made in the upper part using the grape and olive casting technique while the lower barrel is smooth.
On the top base of the oil cruet, 2 holes were drilled so that the caps of the cruets could be placed when opened.
