About the Item

A fine quality George III brass banded mahogany octagonal wine cooler or cellarette of large scale retaining its original lead lined interior. This lovely piece rests on its original reeded stand with elegant corner brackets supported by square fluted legs ending in brass casters. The wine cooler would make a great coffee or side table. Provenance: From the collection of a major U.S. bank. Circa 1790.
