About the Item
A fine Italian champagne bucket or wine holder from the Collezione Italia Navigazione, a fleet of Italian luxury passenger ships that operated in the 1920s and 1930s.
Featuring a flared top edge with opposing handles over an oval deep footed bowl, of alpaca silver plate, with spaces for holding two bottles of champagne.
The front with impressed insignia for the cruise ship line - a design of a crown over a C with an entwined rope.
Note: width of bowl (without handles) is 12 7/8 inches.
