About the Item
A fantastic, large hand-carved and painted wood swan decoy by renowned American/Pennsylvanian decoy artist Bob Biddle. This piece features a wonderful classic shape, nice white color, and piercing dark eyes.
Bob Biddle switched to carving full time later in life at the age of 53 and has since produced a variety of carvings in different styles. His work was featured in the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum in 2022-2023.
The work is signed by Biddle on the underside.
Swan decoys are fairly uncommon. Would be a great addition to any decoy collection or an eye-catching stand-alone accent piece in about any setting.
