These decorative painted red and dark grey or black carved wood splash boards on stands from Papua, New Guinea are from the Milne Bay region, Iwa & Gawa Islands.
These boards are typically used in the front of a canoe to protect from splashing. They are nicely aged, with good front and back detail on custom metal stands.
They will work beautifully as a pair but we will be happy to sell them separately. The general measurements are for the left ones, but both are:
Left: 23" W x 7" D x 36" H.
Right: 22" W x 8" D x 39" H.
They are priced each: $3,675.
