Small dancing Lobi figure with arms out, and cubist face from Ghana, West Africa. ex James Willis, San Francisco, CA. Damage to proper right hand, fingers absent. Heavy encrusted patina from ritual use in a shrine. Wonderful movement and form simulating someone ritually dancing. It is in good condition, appropriate for its age, use, and medium. Scuffs and nicks here and there. Presented on custom base. Early to mid 20th century, ex James Willis, San Francisco, CA.
