Leaping Stag Weathervane Mounted on Marble Base C. 1940's

About the Item

Vintage leaping stag weathervane made of copper, with a verdigris patina that gives it a weathered, greenish appearance. Then stag is depicted mid-leap with its from legs extended forward and hind legs stretched back, conveying a strong sense of motion and grace. It's antlers are tall and intricately shaped, adding an elegant detail to the silhouette. The patina suggests exposure to the elements over time, adding to its rustic charm. The weathervane is mounted on a black metal stand, making it suitable for display indoors or on a tabletop rather than being mounted on a rooftop or outdoor structure. The overall aesthetic reminiscent of traditional American folk art, often found on farms and homesteads.
