About the Item

Exceptional fire gilt bronze and crystal chandelier of French origin, a two tier twelve-light hanging fixture dating back to circa 1870 born for candle burning, modified to electric, with a unique ormolu branches and flowers frame, richly adorned by crystal elements and faceted pendants. Beautiful original gilding. Twelve curved arms ending with flower shaped ormolu bobeches suitable for E14 light bulbs. In good condition ready to be hanged, rewired for Italian standards. It dates back to the third quarter of 19th century and comes from a private palazzo of Milan. Height od 47 inches does not include any chain refers to chandelier structure only. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 2/3 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
