Aries XI.II Chandelier with Faceted Glass and LED lights

About the Item

Aries was inspired by the artist Olafur Eliasson’s concept and set design for the ballet Tree of Codes where the dancers wore all-black suits highlighted with LEDs. The Polished Nickel stems create a minimal form to position bodies of light topped with faceted glass prisms. The prisms capture and focus the light which move as the prisms are turned and positioned. During the day, sunlight can play through the prisms and in the evening, the fixture refracts a blanket of soft, cloud-like rainbows onto the surrounding environment. Aries creates a piece where the points of light are the focus, and the structure itself is as minimal as possible all the while creating constellation-like forms that recall the night sky, with its bright and sparkling lights refracted through the glass prisms. Available in Brushed Brass, Satin Nickel, Bronze, and Nickel Brass Contrast
