Art Glass Deco Pendant Light

About the Item

Above asked for "In the style of" or "truly of the period", but this light is a little bit of both. The fixture itself is truly old, circa 1930. Brass and steel elements that have been entirely rewired. The glass is not as old ( but not brand new either.) did not originally hang with this fixture. I'd guess the glass to be circa 1980 mouth blown glass. I think together really works. The fern shapes and elements in the glass play nicely with the ruffled palm leaves of the upper fixture. I'm a big fan of the twisted square rod that leads to the floral canopy. Socket has new insulator sleeves and takes one 60 watt bulb. I can see this pendant light in a multitude of places, entry area, bedroom, sun room, you pick. The light through the glass is truly quite stunning. (Side note: 1st Dibs keeps suggesting I update my description text on this light. Not sure why. if you have any questions about the fixture , please feel free to ask. No question too small.)
