About the Item
A small globe pendant light, Evolutionette has been developed from “Globette-EV” Ango table light that won Design Excellent Award (DEmark), Thailand 2012 and Good Design Award (GMark), JAPAN 2012
Stemming from earlier Ango explorations in using the silk cocoon to form an “atomised” light diffuser, we found that light was refracted by the natural material at different angles, so producing subtly different colors, and levels of luminosity.
The Evolutionette design was developed out of these earlier researches, but here, each silk cocoon element is fixed and acts as an open light funnel conducting light from the light source to the outside, so that a highly regulated cellular world is created.
