French 19th Century Gothic Style Brass Chandelier

About the Item

A stunning 6-light Gothic style brass chandelier from 19th century France. The dramatically styled fixture has a multifoil shaped base from which the six lights extend. The base is harnessed to an implied canopy by brass rods, joined together at points punctuated by small brass orbs. Originally made to burn candles in a church, the chandelier has recently been cleaned, electrified and professionally rewired for US use, using UL-listed components.
